About Me

I am a theoretical physicist who recently moved to Illinois. Previously, I had been an instructor at Arizona State University. My physics research lay primarily at the intersection of gravitational theory and observational astrophysics.

In particular I have explored how modifications to the General theory of Relativity can lead to detectable astrophysical signatures in situations as diverse as the rotation of Galaxies, the cooling of Neutron Stars, the formation of structure in the Universe and the Universes' present acceleration.

I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at the University of Arizona in May 2013 working for Professor Dimitrios Psaltis. where I was a member of the Extreme Astrophysics group and the Theoretical Astrophysics program in Steward Observatory.
